The property has been the subject of extensive renovation in recent years, and now boasts 7 large bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (3 ensuite) in the main house. It has a separate self-contained apartment, sleeping 2 or 3, which may be let in addition to the main property, but is never let separately.

It is an ideal holiday home for families and groups in search of tranquility and privacy whilst being in easy reach of the wealth of interest that the Dordogne has to offer.

Set in its own grounds of some 32 acres, the property is entirely surrounded by unspoilt meadow and woodland, as well as having its own vines. It is the perfect spot from which to enjoy rural France's extensive wildlife, including wild boar and deer. The heart of the property is more refined - a wonderful, vine-covered terrace opens out onto a beautifully manicured lawn lined with mature borders, on the other side of which is the heated swimming pool and poolhouse offering ideal poolside facilities.

In the heart of the Dordogne

Although its situation is tranquil and private, it offers easy access to the many delights the Dordogne has to offer. There are activities to suit all ages and interests, foodies will enjoy the great local restaurants at the heart of France's centre of gastronomic excellence, as well as the wine of AOC Bergerac. The area has been described the capital of world prehistory, and culture vultures are spoilt for choice with caves, museums and chateaux aplenty.
